Reporting to the Director of Brand Management, the Product Performance Manager will be responsible for continually improving products within the Coghlan’s assortment. This leader will evaluate their existing product line for improvements in packaging, regulatory compliance and product features. The Product Performance Manager must have working knowledge of the outdoors industry and be aligned with customer needs to perfect products, increase sales and ROI. This individual is a sourcing expert, striving to evaluate and improve relationships with suppliers to yield the best return.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive product development and supply chain background. This dynamic leader will bring a proven history of product development with strong analytical skills.
Selection Criteria Include:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business, designation in supply chain management or related discipline preferred; 5+ years of experience in product development, supply chain management or related areas; Demonstrated passion for the outdoors, knowledge and experience in outdoor products; Excellent product conceptualization skills and ability to present to, and achieve support from product teams and review boards; Keen understanding, foresight and ability to adapt and react to changing market conditions; Ability to manage multi-step projects from conception to delivery and ensure efficient workflows; Superior communication, influence, presentation and interpersonal skills; Strong entrepreneurial mindset, business acumen, and ability to apply critical and creative thinking; Attention to detail, focus on accuracy and the ability to enforce high standards of quality for products and vendors; Strong analytical thinking and ability to manage multiple priorities; and This role will require regular business travel domestically and internationally.
