SUMMARY OF POSITION
Option 1 - We require drivers to run on a Thursday to Monday schedule overnight. There may be some handbombing requirements associated.
Option 2 - We require drivers to run Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - overnight runs with a 5:30pm start time. There may be some handbombing requirements associated.
Drive assigned routes within your preferred driving areas to have truck/ trailer loaded or unloaded of various materials that are being hauled. Driver will perform daily Pre and Post-trip inspections of vehicle, including trailer. Driver will complete and submit the vehicle condition reports as required. Driver will be responsible for securing Proof of Delivery (POD) receipts for loads dropped off or loads received.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Different run-types available - preference to experienced drivers interested in running local afternoons/ nights Ability to follow instructions and policies and procedures and operate equipment Perform visible inspections of the tractor and trailer to inspect for safe operations visual checks of potential water, oil, fuel, hydraulic and air leaks Conduct inspections of all safety equipment, gauges, fluid levels, lighting system, and check to ensure that all electrical systems are operational Drive a truck/ trailer equipped with multi-speed transmission (Automatic or Manual) Connect and disconnect semi-trailer and hoses Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner Assist customers with inquiries and information requests and, on occasion, assist with working to resolve customer complaints Maintain up-to-date drivers log throughout the duration of each shift, including the use electronic logging systems Must be able to perform physical work at times (lifting in excess of 50lbs) not in all run types Complete driver logbooks, bill of lading, inspection reports (pre, post, en-route) and accident/ incident reports Use of satellite tracking equipment, including paperwork scanner Adhere to all Titanium Trucking Service Inc. service standards and policies, including Health & Safety No Resume?
