We have one of the largest Global Service and Sales organizations among precision instrument companies. We are seeking a Bilingual (French and English) Telesales Specialist.
This position is primarily responsible for: Selling Services proactively by utilizing the telephone, email, Internet and other technology. Prospecting for and closing new sales leads through a variety of sources, primarily but not limited to outbound telesales campaigns; offering straightforward technical advice, support and solutions to prospective customers and dealers; qualifying prospect accounts and end-user information, and managing opportunities in the CRM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a high level of technical expertise in the Service business. Understand and be able to communicate the product and services we offer to solve customer problems. Meet and exceed sales quotas assigned for products and services. In-depth knowledge of all internal applications related to Service sales and marketing, including but not limited to the CRM and ERP. Executing outbound telesales campaigns, employing professional selling skills in their pursuit, and accurately managing and recording data generated from these efforts. Manage incoming calls from customers and dealers for responsible product lines. Follow up of sales leads for sales opportunities; cross selling opportunities, or opportunities that are assigned to outside sales for consultation on higher-end solutions. Qualify leads by assessing need, budget and buying authority. Obtain basic qualifying information including (but not limited to) time frame for purchase, decision maker(s), budget, influencing factors, and next step in the sales process. Effective nurturing of leads; building relationships by conducting ongoing, informative dialog that helps qualified prospects who are not yet sales-ready. Move each lead to the next step in the sales cycle at the appropriate time and ultimately close the sale for product and/or service. Analytical and Support Functions:
Assist manager and senior management by providing weekly updates about recurring business issues that require a proactive approach, or trends that suggest alternate sales offers or approaches, through participation in a weekly team meeting. Assure database integrity by validating and correcting the data housed within our CRM, sales, and service databases at every practical opportunity. Accurately and quickly promote/quote products, services and solutions to small and medium accounts, and to large accounts at external sales’ request. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in sciences, a qualified candidate should be competitive and have the desire to excel in a fast-paced sales environment, the ability to connect with various personality types, two to three years of any combination of customer service, sales or marketing related experience; inbound or outbound call center experience, and telesales skills training, are desirable. SAP knowledge/experience preferred.
